Yorai Fainmesser is a General Partner at Disruptive AI and a former Head of the Israel Defense Forces’ AI Unit (Colonel, Ret.). He led the creation of STARGATE, Israel’s national computer vision lab, and the Predictive Intelligence Lab. With two decades in elite military R&D (Unit 8200), he now invests and works closely with AI startups, sits on boards, shaping AI strategy and national policy. He is a member of the OECD Network of AI Experts and on the AI Advisory Board of the Israeli Ministry of Education.
